We manufacture and sell transmission seal rings, mainly to Japanese companies.
We have been maintaining high quality and providing them to our customers since the transition period from manual transmission to automatic transmission vehicles. We consult with our customers from the design stage of new models, proposing specifications that satisfy them based on the results of evaluations using actual equipment at NPR-RIKEN and theoretical studies. After the customer evaluates and approves the proposal, the proposal is adopted.
Applying this design, evaluation technology, and knowledge, we are expanding our sales channels to include seal rings for construction machinery transmissions and compressors for hydrogen and new refrigerants. Furthermore, we primarily use super engineering plastics such as PEEK, PPS, and PTFE, which offer excellent heat resistance, abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, and metal substitution properties, as our primary materials for seal rings.
The production technology that we have cultivated with these materials is applied to expand into other products (e.g., plastic gears and cages). Furthermore, these materials are highly compatible with growth sectors (e.g., aerospace, defense, and electrification), and we are developing applied products that utilize our flow analysis, mold, and material technologies, building proposal-based business models.
