Valve seat insert
What kind of product is a valve seat insert?
With world-class wear resistance and compatibility with multiple fuels, NPR-RIKEN’s valve seat inserts support internal combustion engines worldwide.
The “valve seat inserts” pressed-fitted into the valve seating face of the cylinder head are made of sintered alloys. These are critical components that require durability to withstand degradation even when struck at high temperatures, as well as exceptional sealing performance to reliably contain combustion gases. At NPR-RIKEN, we continue to provide superior valve seat inserts that meet the highest engine performance standards by leveraging our extensive range of materials and our material development capabilities.

Powder Metal Assembled Camshafts(P/M Camshafts)
What kind of product is a powder metal assembled camshaft?
Powder metal assembled camshaft that contribute to engine performance through high surface pressure resistance, high strength, and lightweight construction
The powder metal assembled camshaft , which boasts numerous features such as lightweight construction, high surface pressure resistance, and reduced cam spacing, is a “one-of-a-kind product” patented by NPR-RIKEN and manufactured exclusively by NPR-RIKEN. It is manufactured using a technique that involves composite sintering (brazing) a cam lobe made of sintered alloy onto a steel pipe. Various options are available to meet particular engine design specifications, such as integral sintering of the journal section, joining steel components via copper brazing, or using the pipe section as the journal.
Addressing a wide range of valve system needs
material to strengthen bearing
What kind of product is a material to strengthen bearing?
These are aluminum-reinforced composite products (materials to strengthen bearing) that can be placed directly into the mold and cast during the aluminum die-casting process.
materials to strengthen bearing offering excellent properties for casting in aluminum. Our sintering technology enables us to provide products with superior strength and vibration resistance.
For reinforcement purposes
・Keep thermal expansion under control
・Work to maintain strength
・Work to reduce noise and vibration
